Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Consortium’s mission is to educate and advocate for its members. Its primary goal is to increase the level of innovation carried out by small businesses nationwide. SBIRC is a valuable resource for small business innovators participating in the SBIR program.

The SBIR program encourages domestic small businesses to engage in Federal Research and Development that has the potential for commercialization. Through a competitive awards-based program, SBIR enables small businesses to explore their technological potential and provides the incentive to profit from its commercialization. The program invests over $2 billion annually in small businesses.
